Well, Generations Ultimate has been just as much of a breeze to play through low/high rank as Wilds was, 3U gave me some trouble but anything will if you run it on an emulator that has less FPS than a powerpoint presentation whenever you set foot in the Flooded Forest. gen1 fair enough but having to get used to attacking with a joystick instead of the control scheme I got used to was a big part of that.

Yeah, for some reason Capcom isn't able to make high rank challenging anymore. Which I don't get, since they managed to do that with the older titles.

the .45 pistol your thinking of is a tac light, not a laser, its a level below what im talking about. and my issue with most of them is the level of zoom or fire rate and in two categories, lack of suppressor options.

look up 338 in the test maps cheat shop. not one silent option.

30-06, 3 decent options, however theres only one good gun. one with a reflex sight, one with a 3 round burts and a DMR sight, and the best option (after looking through this shop) is the BR 61 DMR

5.56, the tac PKT would be the closest to what im looking for, the other 3 options is either full auto and reflex sight, a 2x scope on a 3 burst rifle, or a 2 burst with a modeled scope but no mention of what kind.

50 cal, no options. probably could have a break action silenced sniper, trade off the slow fire rate for some night ops accessibility.

but other than the wish to be a stealthy person, most of the options there arent a bad deal. i just have a certain playstyle in these types of games that lean more towards survivability in these "extraction" style games.

I'm still constantly getting crashes due to DirectX.
Drivers are up to date and reinstalled several times on a RTX 3080. Validating the game files after a crash confirms 3 files failed to validate and need to be fixed (its always 3 files after every crash).

I'm not seeing much chatter about this. Can't even see mention of this in the Known Issues. Anyone else having this experience?

I don't think they'll drop it.
I think Paradox sees big potential in vic3, and I think theres really big demand for other time period DLCS like WW1 + 2 , cold war, etc.

if they do drop it , i'll be really sad cause it's my favorite grand strategy game :(
