Did you play a game in Cities Skylines, and then loaded or started another game?

When you use mods and you want to go from one play to another, you need to exit Cities Skylines and restart the game. Otherwise mods get loaded twice and cause problems.

Yea, since it only targets legs, I guess what happened was that a lot of toes got mauled off. Especially if its tough+robust, might require 2 hits of a trap to destroy a leg part.
No idea if the game rounds up or down, but with wood traps, and a low roll on the trap damage it should be dealing 2 damage (10 total) per trap hit. (with no armor)

Another bit of info I lack is trap targeting, so if all the hits from a trap go to a single part or if it can spread out. Toes would have 8 hp, 25 for parts of the leg, and 30 for the leg itself. That is a looooot of damage you could tank if you are lucky, but damn you would have to be lucky.

Its not even the situation that happened. Krafton was helping Unknown Worlds with the production of Subnautica 2, after their help with Subnautica: Below Zero, and due to Krafton higher ups not wanting to pay that $250,000 bonus they promised if they made sales by the end of 2025, they fired the Unknown Worlds founders and CEO at the time and replaced them with their own Krafton guy so they could postpone the release of the game and wont have to pay Unknown Worlds that $250,000 bonus Krafton promised. Just want to make it clear, the original CEO and founders of Unknown Worlds are not evil. The games they made, both Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero still stand as the creative works of the original Unknown Worlds team. Its the second game we should be worried about and shouldn't be review bombing or wrongfully spreading false information. Krafton are the evil ones not wanting to stay by their word and properly support indie/more obscure titles.

So much of that is unconfirmed and just assumptions. We do not know if that is the reason they fired and replaced the lead devs, nor do we know the state of the game. For all we know it was not ready and they were going to just push it out anyways for the bonus. There is also the statements that were rather concerning from the lead dev about how he wanted to correct the game from being horror, from having scares, and keep players from killing leviathans. There is a lot more pieces of info on the table than there being a bonus on the line, and even with that on the table it could be abused by both sides. Yet everyone is pushing that Krafton are the enemy, we fully do not know that.
As the lead dev likes the direction of BZ more than the first game, I am actually rather happy he is not in charge anymore. And the game could need reworking to undo his decisions , or it really just wasnt ready.
I have seen far to many posting hate and even videos for what is just wild speculation. We do not know the reasons, and there plenty of explanations that can defend both sides. Why the only one everyone looks at is Krafton must be evil is just a witch hunt. Remember that they want the game to sell well, they have reason to care if its in a playable state, if its more BZ or like the first. They stand to lose so much more than $250,000 if this flops, and will easily make that back in sales. Them trying to avoid paying that bonus is such a flimsy argument.
Till we actually know whats going on your just spreading baseless drama.
