i think i got the solution, well not the solution but somehow it worked for me, i uninstalled the game then i reinstall it. but didnt play, i was hoping for a patch. but after seeing people saying that u can play island and aquatica. so i decided to create a new game on island. it worked so then i installed mods, it worked again. then i created new game on fjordur. then i ran the my old rag game. it worked, now can run any ark. one more thing i didnt try it on server yet as i mostly play single player and remove any launch options like -prevent hibernation that way ur game will not be treated like server. another thing firstly install only base game then later update dlc. now using aws spyglass, dino storag v2 and ss mods.
note- all this is on aquatica update, not on beta.

currently the game has a demo you can play that is frequently updated. As of when the full game will be ready personally i don't know, we are a small team making our fist game so i cant predict when it would be ready but at the rate we are going maybe another year or 2.

I'm a new player, too. I've been playing MoO2 for maybe 25 years and I'm a huge fan of it obviously. I've played the remake, MoO3 and a bunch of other space strategies.

For now, my biggest issue with this game compared to MoO2 is that it does not run as fast on my computer as MoO2 lol. There a turn is instant haha, here I have to wait. My second issue is familiarity. It is just hard to move on - in MoO2 I'm super comfortable, here I have to adapt and think.

I hope you get it - I don't have a real issue with this game. For sure it is not perfect, some things could be improved - but I do realize that the team is super small and overall this game is fantastic. It is really unique in its own ways, super replayable while it indeed does give me back my MoO vibes.

I don't miss food. I kinda miss the more direct approach of colonist management from MoO2. But in general, I appreciate the changes compared to MoO2. Honestly, it would be pointless to have another MoO2 remake adding nothing to the game - what would be the point? If I wanna play MoO2 then I will play MoO2!

The MoO Remake is prettier, that's true - but this game is way more interesting. I like them both (of course, I'm using the mods for the MoO remake).

I'm easy to entertain tho, I admit that. Give me spaceships and I'm already interested.

No. Valve would fight tooth and nail to keep this game on Steam; as it is selling extremely well right now.
