That's not true at all from my experience.. I've had horrendous starts before, builds with no synergy first few days and managed to salvage it to silver victories - sure I couldn't get 10 wins, but it was still far from a bad 'unwinnable' run

I understand practicing manual locking at the section where you're stuck, but if you find that your manual locking gets you nowhere, then you can try relying on the lock delay, and focus more on individual piece placement. On good runs, I can barely reach Asuka 700 on both rulesets, but often time out before reaching 800.

I find myself spam rewinding on tough placements for too often for comfort. I should probably practice better placement (especially on TGM's IRM randomizer) and looking head at the next queue more often, but i find myself overfocusing on the stack.

Yes, running monoliths is the endgame, just like running maps is the endgame in PoE/2.

You really only get one of two types of endgame in ARPGs. Random Maps or Boss Runs.

i have around 1120 hours played - played with communities in private servers trying out outrageous game modes and mods ^^ (try to play with NO MAP except the map table and good luck)- to me also the mobs dont pose a threat anymore - except the deep north - havent been there at all - waiting for 1.0 to keep the mystery for last.

guys just remember that there are multiple weapons in the game and each gives an advantage agains specific types of monsters.. and our trustworthy best friend is the hoe - you can raise the ground and be safe to attack mobs from high above :) oh and the 2handed mace slams the ground to AOE attack and stun
