The fans of the game (the ones with over 600hrs ((IM-over-1200 plus)) or more like me) started playing this game for what i thought was a mix between milsim and fps shooter. The attention to detail from uniforms, to maps, to the names of the battlefields is what drew a lot of us in. Plenty of the charm from this game was the "old school" feel to the game.Felt the passion from the DEV team. There have been ups and downs with each update. However, upon reading the *tinkerer* information on the class feels very inauthentic to the idea of WWII battles and strategy that the game presented. Seems like we should have instead had the idea to add historical vehicles to the game that served other functions instead of buffing speeds and armors. Those seem like bi-products of games like battlefield. I come here to play a game thats NOT like those games. The slow mechanical turrets, the reload times, were all measures to balance the game originally. Presenting these updates seems like a disservice to the fans and the game when so many other issues like tank traversal/tank clipping /drive-thru-able props on one map and not others. or optimization issues. or lost connection to host issues... Going back to the basics that made this game great is what seems to be the consensus with the fans. "Fix the old issue before we start thinking on how to revolutionize the game" by adding arcade elements. This is HELL LET LOOSE. not your happy go-lucky fps game. and limiting heavies?? why? multiple satchel classes and AT options exist. tankers have a hard time getting out of spawn a lot of games.

What you are seeing in the game is a linear transfer of sand. A line. A sandfall. Which, physically, functions just like a waterfall. There is not an eye in the middle of a waterfall. The middle of a "fall" is where the MAJORITY of the material (water, sand, etc) converges and exists. It is where the flow is the MOST INTENSE. This is fundamentally the OPPOSITE of a swirling tornado which creates an empty low pressure zone at its center due to its swirl.

You can't blame the devs for your fundamental misunderstanding of physics.

We've listed like 3 different simple methods for stepping onto the warp pad, blaming the devs for being unable to handle this is actually insane.
Trying harder to think of it as a sandfall actually makes it make even less sense.

How are you getting dragged upward by falling sand while standing inside a tower with no sand?

The more I think about it the more I understand why it's a pretty bad puzzle - it's just not clear exactly what's going on with the sand to start with.

It can't be gravity pulling you up because the roof stops it.

It can't be a current of sand pulling you along because there's no sand in the room with you.

It's just kinda...a magical force beam from the other planet that you can...run through fast enough?
Because the roof stops it? The baiting the never ends.
