I am trying to play this, but there is a constant background flashing, like from the center and it forms triangles that reach the edge of the screen, more or less. No settings seem to change it.

Another Mafia game with no side activities doesn't let you do
jobs ( not campaign related )
activities
run your own business
actually really use your apartment ( except for certain camping missions )
make the wine / shipments etc

Back when it was airing, I didn't understand anything so no wonder I avoided it..
It'd probably still be the same even if I were to give it another try, as as far as I'm aware, it's full of sarcasm, irony, and otherwise black comedy.

I can imagine that pretty much everyone who misunderstands or doesn't understand that isn't gonna like it.. And that's perfectly fine aswell.
It'd be a real hassle to find something good to watch if everything were to be entertaining.

Hand Smoother - Because God forbid somebody gets a no land hand? What are we children that we can't play Magic like it is in the real world? this isn't about your enjoyment of it it's about how many people concede 1 land hands and ruin the matchmaking times (which was the literal reason they added the hand smoother)

Deck Weight - Because God forbid somebody maybe once in a while gets an easy match? All the deck weight does for me is make it so that every match is a nightmare. Cards that I only see played against me when I play a certain deck. Just today I had a card played gainst me that I've never seen before. It shut my whole deck down.

aren't u playing ranked, which doesn't use deck weight?

My daughter is 38. You're her generation. Even she remembers the good old days and doesn't understand this hand holding that Arena does.

And no, I stopped playing ranked because once you get to Platinum the grind is exhausting. You have to have a 70% win percentage to get anywhere. Otherwise, it's just up and down,up and down. I play to finish my dailies and get my 4 wins. After that, I play Historic and Timeless because at least they're interesting.
