The game is indeed woke, but not for those reasons. Black people were already all over the world by that time. And the ghost hunter thing... Its fiction. Ghosts, werewolves, vampires and demons are incorrect too, in terms of historic precision.

Paying for VP is stupid once you have a shoulder item that refills VP.
You can equip it at the same supply bases you pay for VP, use it as much as needed, and then unequip it again.
And if you run out of charges before you hit full VP just interact with the Supply Base to refill the ammo instantly for free.

Kinda feels like a design oversight that they backed themselves into a corner on. The only way out of it is to make the supply bases not give ammo or not let you equip that item type; both would be bad.

0) After an elevator/fairy ring there is an open area. One of the pathways (forward-left) is where you will be going.
1) There's a long hallway with a sniper at the end of it.
2) At the end of the long hallway is an open outdoors-y place with broken pipes on the firs thalf and a fence made of cables cutting it in half (the long way) and a roof pieces on the second half of it.
3) In the same area is a door that leads to a dead-end "warehouse" with an engine in the middle (that has an item inside of it).
4) After the area is a long ramp upwards (that is broken at the top) that leads between 2 parallel buildings.

The area in question is 2. The gun is on top of the roof. You can either parkour along the pipes/wall in the same room or you can use the ramp in 4 and attempt to glide to the item.
