Wehr imo is not "underpowered" but requires A LOT MORE micro to play and that makes playing Wehr not fun at all, balanced or not.
Wehr is like a house of cards, you have to carefully place your mix of many different units, any mistake you made will make the whole setup crumble beyond saving.

They have bad call ins, bad off maps, bad infantry upgrades, bad tech timings into literally anything, bad engineers for flamethrowers, bad snowballing, bad buildings compared to allies, they are just worse in every lane.

Guiding Light is a neat skill what with it's nature of hovering around you during combat. Would be cool to see some more runes out there that let us summon hovering artifacts/orbs that contribute either offensively (ex. small % chance on hit for the artifact/orb to deliver a mild dmg projectile) or defensively (ex. small % chance on incoming attack for the artifact/orb to mitigate a % of dmg from the attack).

Would be even cooler to see players with builds completely revolved around these "hovering pet" style runes, thereby adding another layer to the already in-depth build possibilities out there, especially with all of these talks of a class system soon.

Its fun its hard it runs very well, imagine hunt showdown but no pvp and dosnt run like ♥♥♥♥. Thats witchfire.

I usually like to play a mage and have played tougher magic systems than this. I think it's just not fun in comparison to other guilds. After trying a few I find that I enjoyed the Militia quests the best. I enjoyed playing as a detective and driving off the field raiders from the farm. They also get to purify the shrines of Innos in chapter 3 instead of recovering all of the mining documents.

Though as mage you make the amulet against Seekers and hunt possesed people... its not worst either.

And the introduction quest is very charming, at least for me.. remember I really felt accomplishment, bringing that sheep and 1000 gold and than follow Path of fire and create your very own first rune.... originally some 20 years ago:p
