For some background, i have around 20h on the game, full meta progression unlocked and i have no issue clearing Nightmare 2 when i play.
I did only one run on the beta so, take what i'm going to say with a grain of salt.
I felt like i had at least twice or thrice the damage i usually have when i'm playing the retail version.

The first boss i encountered was the tree guy and i killed him while he was transforming. Can't really say it's really an op build at this stage of the game given how early it was.
The whole run felt like playing without any Nightmare difficulty (played on NM2, as i usually do). I was just steamrolling the whole run with a poison build.

The only reminder i had of NM2 difficulty was the amount of damage i was taking when hit. One hit was 50+ damage and i didn't have much hp, especially compared to retail. On retail, i can easily end a run with 400+hp, here i had 270 with 20+ green runes.

I very much liked the fact that you have way more build options and offerings. On retail, it's hard to do a build around frozen, poison or electricity. Here, i ran a poison build and steamrolled the run, might need some tuning cause it was just way too strong damage wise. I saw quite some items for electricity and frozen, seems quite promising there.
I also liked the change about the red runes, the 10 points 25% chance to trigger feels good.

The only thing i didn't like was the change about the blue runes, the 10 points one. Needing an astonishing 100MP for it to trigger is absurd imo. 60 or maybe 50 would make it way more balanced to build around. 100MP means to need at least 2 spells to trigger one rune.

I don't know if something was done about the passive stats of the green runes but i felt like paper while having 20+ green runes on my run, dunno how to feel about this.

Dunno if it's a beta issue but i can't remember this on retail : I had no visual indication of the gargoyle's drop attack on the Bridge. I had them for the first map, then nothing for the rest of the world and it came back when I was in the Castle.

Lastly, i noticed two items having issues.
- Bull Shackles, an armor, had an issue in its description with 'Error duration'. Since i didn't know the duration, i just dismantled it.
- Cursed coin, a cursed item is just way too strong. The idea is good but 50% chance to trigger on each map is unthinkable. Should be 25% chance to get a reroll coin imo. On my run, i never had to reroll with cristals and i was offered 10+ rerolls for the whole run.
