You don't understand though, it's like the old CS:Source. People played it once, realised you couldn't unlock anything and then just stopped playing. That's why it didn't last very long, only 8 years or so.

Counter Strike: Source has more players right now than Helldivers 2, might want to rethink that comparison.

L4D2 has almost the same number of players today that Helldivers 2 does and it was released in 2009. No unlocks, or anything of the sort, and it's much more comparable gameplay to boot.

Robot is right. If the game play loop doesn't grab them, no carrot is going to fix that.

My argument had nothing to do with player numbers and everything to do with the fact that people don't need unlockable content to enjoy and stick around in a game.

For a second there I was actually interested in this since I think this is the future of games, but then I read the "Streamed from the cloud part" and lost all interest in it.

I got the gravlite panels and the gravcore + hive queen down there, but i have no idea how to get them out.

It is horrible bait, people do this exact thing on every single new ish game on steam for comment awards. Just report them and any piggybacks and move on

if we went to bed last Wednesday able to do a spot with ease and minimal buffs and next day have to full two combo those same mobs..then obviously this isnt a good update, might be my last week on this game if next update buffs Hexe but also keeps everything else buffed. This game always does a major update when i try to return to it -__-
