I'm really enjoying it. I'm having fun exploring the zone, getting into fights, finding artifacts (until I lost my damn scanner), and completing story missions. I had to jack the difficulty down to rookie, and there is still enough challenge to make the game interesting.

I'm also enjoying visiting the updated locales. I saw a comment somewhere where a person said "I know this will never be (Anomaly or Gamma). I don't know why anyone would think that, since all of the base elements are here - big zone full of stashes and locations to explore, mutants and anomalies and the basic food/inventory/weapons/armor systems. Radiant quest givers, etc. There is no crafting that I can tell, I wouldn't think that would be too difficult to implement.

There may not be as many factions now, but I also think that's part of the ongoing lore, and from what I've seen of full game reviews there is plenty of room in the Zone for future official expansions.

I find myself just as immersed as I was in the previous games.

is there any content in the current season 2 that is not in the legacy? I feel like playing but don't really want to start over

Cobalt Sparrow's Xyz effect only applies if the monster was Xyz summoned using it, if they attached that card through a different means the Xyz monster doesn't gain that effect

Spell card needs to be played from hand so they have zero cards in order for the Unicore to work

1- correct im aware black hole would get around

2- also aware, if it doesnt flash up on the summon i assume it didnt pop.

3- incorrect. When you go from 1-> 0 playing a spell the unicorn gets its first proc, and continues to proc until you somehow either draw or manage to get a different hand size.

I won about 7 in a row and stopped playing for the night. I went back the next day and lost over 12 matches in a row. After that, I got matched with a player using a starter deck for easy win, then went up in difficulty until I was losing games continuously I just gave up.

There is a code to it, if you check on youtube there is proof that's how the game works and it shows you as she's playing what she can expect and sure enough it happens.

It's called "Magic Arena's Matchmaking EXPOSED" Along with a bunch of others that explains the algorithm.

You're right, no one would ever win 7 in a row. I've been grinding to mythic and I've noticed that there are times of day where the opponents aren't as good. How are you controlling for things like that?

My record is 13 wins in a row, at least that I've noticed. Given the number of games I've played, I've probably gotten one longer, but it was over the end of the day / begginning of the next. I also once got to 15 wins in a day in just over 40 minutes. I went 15-3. None of the games turned into boardstalls and none of my opponents slowplayed; it was amazing.

Other times I start the day dealing with slowplayers, ropers, toxic players so much that I concede 10+ games in a row as soon as I see any sign they are going to be a problem. I wish WotC would deal with toxic players.

Fear and Hunger is already getting delisted from Itch.IO, are you confident games like Elin, Rimworld, CK3 and many others are perfectly safe from these arbitrary rules from the financial duopoly?
