Freedom of speech in games.

continuing from the previous post here's an even larger list of privately owned space where they can't engage in censorship or complete control regardless of if they own the property or not.

Apartment or condo units—political signs on doors/windows

Apartment or condo mailrooms & lobbies—political leaflets to tenants

Apartment or condo parking lots—organizing or distributing political materials

Single-family-home lots—flyers, political signs, religious banners (HOA / covenant overrides)

Condominium balconies—U.S., state, candidate, or religious flags

Nursing-home rooms—resident-council meetings and political discussions

Private hospital patient areas—union-related discussion among staff (NLRA)

HR breakrooms—wages, hours, or working-conditions discussion (NLRA)

Company breakrooms—union or grievance talk (NLRA)

Private-restaurant back office—server wage talk on break (NLRA)

Truck-cab sleeper—driver-to-driver logbook or pay talk via CB or phone apps (NLRA)

Warehouse loading dock—team discussions on safety problems (OSHA whistleblower overlay)

Open-plan office—speech to co-workers about workplace policies (NLRA)

Company e-mail or Slack—messages to co-workers on wages/working conditions (NLRA)

Company intranet bulletin board—posting NLRA-protected union notices

Private college classroom building—non-violent outdoor political assemblies (campus-free-speech statutes in AZ, GA, FL, NC, AL, MN, MI, WI, TN, KY)

Private college dorm common room—same as above, subject to content-neutral rules

Private university parking area—noncommercial petition signature gathering (same statutes)

Shopping-mall common areas—leafleting or signature gathering on political issues (CA, CO, NJ, OR, MA, WA only)

Outdoor spaces of large big-box retailer parking lots—same six states
Event-center sidewalks owned by for-profit venue—but adjacent to mall, same six states
Federal-contractor cafeteria—union election notices posted by employees (NLRA)

Agricultural-packing-plant yard—discussion of H-2A wages (NLRA)

Credit-union parking lot—leafleting board-election materials (NCUA rules)

Retail-chain break room—conversation about racial discrimination (Title VII retaliation ban)

Private school teacher lounge—discussing public safety issues (state whistleblower shields and federal OSHA provisions)

Private owners are not in complete control of their property, their property rights are protections granted to them by the state, and that power can be witheld or reduced when it services the general publlic's interests. (wages, elections, union activity, patient rights, etc.)

The state can and ought to withhold rights from private property owners to increase freedom of the general public to speak freely when necessary for maintaining open discourse.
