the fact this can happen in the first place is a red flag, most people aren't tech savvy and end up getting in situations like this feeling like their PC is now bricked and can't be fixed.

sure, but how do things ever change if dev's can't do new things?
because they cut out some people, isn't that normaly how things workout.
same thing with app's on your phone right, new apps don't work on older models.

if people can't do it them self thats not a problem, you can ask for help online.
you can ask ChatGPT.
you can go to your local pc store.
but most people don't want to spend a single min on it, then they shouldn't complain either.
if people think they PC is bricked because they did something wrong in BIOS a simple google search will tel them to take that small battery of from their MOBO and that will reset the BIOS to factory settings again.

again, it looks scary for some people i can agree with that.
but if they just calm down for a sec and read about it and what to do, they will know its kinda easy and not scary as they thought it was.

You can offer anything you want - cards, items etc. Every single offer is different - so it's my personal decision to accept, change or reject the trade. Remember - better initial offer - better chance that i'll accept it immediately.

So far, spamming heaps of heavy weapon squads and RPG squads seems to be working. Enemy infantry are almost always pushovers and it's the big tanks that are problematic. But anti-tank unit-spam works on those pretty well.

And after you take the initial onslaught of units, you can throw out a bunch of tanks of your own to cap all the points once enemy reserves run dry.

On urban maps I try to find the choke points.
Set up infantry and heavies in front buildings maybe some rangers too.
Hide some rangers forward but the side of choke point.
Place ATGM squads behind the lines or side that are hard to get to.
Go into stealth mode for all inside buildings except one ATGM squad per choke point.
Group buildings together to mass shoot at once.
Plasma heavies are the best cause tanks do not deploy smoke to avoid it.
Wait until they burn through the enemy.
Mop up the remnants with tanks and rangers.
Position tanks and heavy platforms nearby. (Harder to do now cause so much ATGM spam late game)

Despise snipers, they die so easy I end up evacuating them so fast.
I Use rangers instead.

General rule is evacuate troops that are at half or below strength.

Never see enemy snipers so I close hatches on tanks by default and only open when I feel the extra firepower is needed.

For air defence I have found equipping an RPG squad with stingers is good.
Unsure if that in base game I play Terminator Overhaul mod.
Bradley with light plasma cannon and AA missile good.

Scavenge everything for selling or reuse.
Strip them first cause I think some supply points are removed if you sell vehicle with attachments.

The map I had immense trouble with was legion stronghold.
No buildings at all.
Lost almost all my Bradley.
Half my tanks.
Half my light guns.
It was a endless attack and they never ran out of forces.
I did save most of my squads but using transport choppers to evacuate my wounded crew.
Had to retreat.
I already had limited ammo.
Will go back with 10 tanks next time.

I have the same problem on NG+. The game has been acting weirdly since I completed the game on normal difficulty.
