Yes, pretty much. First game is finished and there is "New game+", that adds almost infinite replayability.
Second game in it's early stages, 2/3 of the map is still unavailable, but even what is already there is twice as big as whole map in Grounded 1

Spawning more stuff for people lagging behind really is backwards game logic. They should tripple spawns for those pushing ahead. We will see less people doing so if they have to deal with more disablers like dogs, trappers and mutants.

Once you understand 2 main concepts about this game, it actually becomes fun.
1. The game uses bait-and-switch tactics.
2. "Balance" in this game does not mean a fair and level playing field.

The game is really about achieving micro-goals and also about deferring gratification to obtain better rewards. That is pretty much how I describe the game play outside of the PTW element of the game.

I think that is actually a pretty cool feature of the game, in that it can cater to both game modes within the same platform. Obviously there is every effort to bait you over into the PTW element of the game through in-game advertising and deals but that is totally up to you to control yourself and not purchase anything - unless the PTW element of the game is the side you wish to play in. In that case, go for it.

It's a grind-centric game, for sure but it's the "junk food" video games, meaning you will probably play a few rounds in a day and then move on to a different game with some depth perhaps.
