Ah, I see. Well... thanks. Basically, it's not really a remake, just a remaster with a few extras. Good to attract newcomers but no real reason to purchase for people who played the series before.

No, it IS a full remake.,
It has more cutscenes, it probably have more side quests too.

However, they intend to not change the original japanese script Falcom is using too much, but they will localize as they see fit, probably to fit (I hope) with the terms used in newer games. Not only that we will probably see characters from other games in liberl or at least have mentions of them, since they are all stablished in the world.

The battle system is similar but it has every single enhancements Daybreak have and it even incorporaes enhancements given into Cold Steel II for example. Storywise its wrong, since each of those "enhancements" were a given by each generation of orbments, but hey, no noe wants to play a game that plays worse than the newest release right?

A remaster would be, what they have done for Trails from Zero/Azure. That could be called a remaster. Every aspect of it was brought up from a PSP graphic to 4K textures. Every part where the textures would break because of widescreen resolutions was completelly fixed by the team who ported and remastered it, it even got some new features, but the script is the same as the PSP, as is the gameplay. It just looks nicer than it would if you played the PSP version on a big screen or the original ports of Zero/Azure (the chinese ones).

When the entire game is re-created in another engine, with another perspective? That's a Remake. There won't even be transitions between towns, the game will load the whole world in real time. I firmly believe it will be harder for anyone playing Sky remakes, to play Zero/Azure after because instead of an upgrade, it will feel like a downgrade right away.

Any Chance of getting FSR4 support? have a 9070xt and my frames are fine but it feels like this would be a great game to test it on and with the weaker new amd cards a great performance boost?
