That is such a Sagan way of saying things, I can almost hear his voice excitedly making the point.

As far as I'm concerned when it comes to games, if you want something done, do it yourself. The weak, the lazy, the incapable, don't get to continue on. The part of them that failed get frozen in time forevermore. Crystallized. If you can't do it you don't get to have the rest of the story. It isn't yours to have. When you look up a guide you've severed the chain. After that point everything that follows is fake. It's not hollow and meaningless, but it is artificial, and you will know it.

The foundation is a little rough around the edges but it is made of stone and will endure long into the future.

There are no Lamps in the new Store Zone when you expand the Store. The new Zone has insufficient lighting.

It's not about blaming Steam. The developers can't change the release date on the store page if the previous release was less than 14 days in the future. They have to ask for Steam's approval. All that prerelease PR games get through Steam already happened and I could see Steam not approve the new date (in time) meaning the date on the store page won't change and the developers just hit release next week without increased visibility on the store page.

I say this because this is the general rule of thumb, especially for these indie titles. When something happens it's always Steams fault. I have been through plenty of releases here on Steam from indie developed, AAA, and in between so to speak. It's always the indie ones who tend to have these "problems" at the last minute - some, not all. And the first thing is to blame Steam for their incompetence in some way shape or form. Go figure. You say "it's not about blaming Steam" but I beg to differ.

Get to the title screen but before you try to log in, hit "repair data" under options. If that doesn't work, close it out, verify the integrity of the files on steam, then try again. If THAT doesn't work, I am not sure what to do.
