I feel like it says "I don't care enough or pay enough attention to you to have any idea what might actually appeal to you/make you happy."

There are certainly situations where I'd tell my wife to just go nuts on a purchase, sure, but if it's meant to be a *gift*, I really think it ought to demonstrate more thought than a wad of bills indicates.

...and since both my wife and I contribute to our finances in significant ways, I'm not *giving* her money at any point, anyway. It's a shared resource we both work for, not something I *allow* her.

Just wanted to point out (yet again) because there seems to be some problems understanding this.

Listening to feedback != Doing everything I want in the exact way I want.

Arrowhead have proven numerous times that they listen to feedback and will take actions when it is beneficial for the game and players.
e.g.
* Balancing changes
* PSN account requirement
* Locked countries

As stated in the post above me, Arrowhead have acknowledged the Gameguard situation several times. The lack of any changes says everything that needs to be said about it, but let me spell it out for anyone struggling.

They have not found any convincing evidence or reasons to change or remove the AC from HD2.

So you guys can continue to spread your conspiracies and hearsay all you like, but until you present clear and substantial evidence of problems actually caused by Gameguard, nothing is ever gonna change.

Well Red51, life happens and should always take priority, the more time needed the better the outcome.

Couple months ago I replayed full DOW2 with all expansions.
Original isnt in best spot, but Retribution is still looking and playing good.
Game run perfectly smooth on modern PC.
Why would you need a remaster?...

Valve doesn't set the price on games. If you feel a game is more expensive in your region than it should be, you need to take that up with the publisher of the game.
