I wouldn't say every game after Borderlands 2 was bad mid at worst (with the exception of new tales and the movie those were very bad).
the gameplay, the looting, shooting and the guns we're all good it's just the story, legendaries dropped way too often, it running like crap for a couple months after launch and the way gearbox was acting back then makes it hard to enjoy the good parts of that game and brings down most people's enjoyment of the game.

Maintaining relationships with the other kingdoms is pretty annoying. Especially when you are trying to go the suzerain route and take over by force. Maybe when you take over a city via attacking it, there can be more options of what you can do with the capture royal family of that kingdom. Capture them and take them to your kingdom (or one of their children?) to ensure cooperation, execute them and install a steward of some sort that is loyal to you. Sometimes I will capture a lord when attacking, but it's very rare and the lord is random and even when you ransom them back the +10 to relation hardly seems worth it. Can I release them for free to gain more relation?

Otherwise, having more options of people you can send to improve relationships with other kingdoms would be nice too, or more options of offerings to the king like just straight up gold so you can pay kingdoms into staying vassals. Only being able to send the king to improve relationships/ hunt wolves hinders game flow greatly, especially when you have 13 vassals and it takes him a day to get to the furthest one, and when a vassal starts to revolt you only have a day to get them from -70 to -10 relationship. Even just letting the heir be able to do it as well would be a huge help,

I get that being aggressive would make all the other kingdoms hate you and that there needs to be consequences to playing that way. However, it would nice to have more options when improving relationships with other kingdoms and more options for what you can do to lords of a vassal kingdom once you take it over by force.

At a certain point my 'bullet hell' + splitting magazine plasma gun just went from running buttery smooth to 1 frame per second.
Suffice to say I didn't live very long at that point but it was a huge disappointment.

When we're talking about whole mechanics, like station, yes. When we're talking about individual cards, most of the time. Sometimes when a card is changed late in the development cycle it slips through playtesting, which can cause issues *cough * Nadu *cough*. And yes, it was confirmed that this is what happened with MH3 when Nadu got banned.

And Uro and Oko. Oko was cringe, like, no one that played competitively play tested it. There's no way.
