Yeah I don't get it either, I have zero interest in Silksong. Also, why a 3 week delay instead of just 1? If 1 is still too close to the release date of Silksong then the 26th is too close to Dying Light: The Beast and Jump Space.

If you want to argue personal stuff, insult each other or get mad over opinions, make a separate thread or take it to DMs. It really isn’t that hard to accept that people see achievements differently without getting butthurt about it. And that goes for both sides.

I appreciate that the game supports VR, but it neither runs well or looks good in VR compared to other driving games of the same era.

SCS do NOT support VR, it is available as an experimental beta version, with no official support or backing and always has been. It is a project of a dev or devs within SCS, worked on by them in their own time, from everything I have read about it.
At some point in the future it may be officially included in the game and given a full release, but SCS have not announced anything like this and it is not on the Store page for ATA/ETS2.

Based on the dev interview, the game's technology has advanced considerably and it's something they want to emphasize in-game. And the giant robot arsenals still exist; I'm not sure how they tie into the story, but you do get to pilot one as a super mode, and you can even customize it a bit (at least the colors and emblems). Rebellion, which is a boss you can find in the demo, appears to be an extremely old, rusted arsenal from the old days of colonization.

While the first game happened, the new one is set so far into the future that it's entirely self contained. Though maybe it will have throwbacks to the original.

So I tried checking the cabinet in the room first and I was able to start the puzzle but when I solved it the dialog happened and the door opened. But when I tried to go through the door it acted like it was closed. Softlocked again

The Chaos stuff is the jankiest in WA. The possession mechanic sounds good on paper but just doesn't feel good in practice.

It was easier to kill the monoliths with the BT and Preds than the "intended" way. Lol, you know something's wrong when that's the case.

Then I had to awkwardly run around and capture the guns once the whole map was cleared out to actually win. It was tedious and boring. It doesn't help that the gun capture ability seems to be missing a CD indicator.
