It's way too early to tell so I personally also only can hope that the campaigns will be good.

I have some confidence in them though since I personally at least very much liked the campaigns in iron harvest but of course that does not automatically mean that the campaigns of DOW4 will be good as well.

Yeah it's not the devs or the quality I question. It's the Games Workshop approach of "milk them for every penny, then milk some more!"

I love the tone idea, but I'm not self on the ruler one. I'd rather have my standard heroes capable of becoming vampires through a transformation than by being pigeonholed into a specific type of vampire. Still better than a vampire culture though, so I wouldn't cry about it if it happened.

After what happened when the drama hit before your long hiatus, I would suggest that you don't include the typical Paradox nature of cash grabbing on this, and buy back the players "trust", even it is a fraction of the trust. I know the devs and publishers are different entities, so it must go without saying that some of us will take a stand against this after the drama of before.
Treat us like people, not like we are like numbers with wallets.

Those movies were awful in every sense of the word. Just awful.
