First, there's a literal disclaimer that akka is meant to be too hard when you click on the lever.
Second, akka isn't too bad.
Try barbarian with the 1000x primary attack artefact and almost any weapon and it's pretty doable, so long as you can figure out how phase 2 works.

Phase 2 was very fair once I figured out how it worked, but I kept getting killed without realizing what was happening. Is there a chance some other bosses could demo that mechanic before we get to akka in the rest of the game so it's not completely new by the time we get there?

with the freeplay idea i think a good idea would be a freeplay leaderboard. dont get me wrong some may not like this but i think this will age superwell, seeing people on the regular leaderboard and the freeplay.
