In the pause menu go to -> settings, then to the Controller icon for the controls category. There you can remap all keys (there is a button at the bottom "remap").

When i remember correct the actions should be called "Previous Tool" and "Next Tool".

I had a similar situation. Part of the issue is that the if you've a player who will be good that is on the bench, or players who are good, yet their position changes - the board doesn't consider them properly - as it looks at where the team is at that point in time for next year.

I almost got fired, as I had a -70 something due to the next season outlook, yet after my 4 people retired, and I reordered the team, I was actually a fraction of a point higher than my overall was the prior year.

This is a serious flaw, and it'd have me consider uninstalling the game if I lost a promising run due to it.

Then flip a coin. It honestly doesn't matter. The strength of Steam's aggregates comes from high numbers of participants. Any perceived inaccuracy of any individual review is moot when there are lots of reviews.
