Not so. When you play subnautica, its engaging and immersing. The music and atmosphere pull you in. You dont have time to think about other things and the player most likely isnt even aware of the character they are playing. Perhaps that lack of triggering is why UWE felt like they needed to amplify their ideological message in BZ? I dont know, either way in below zero the game itself is weak a poor copy with a poor narrative, repetative music and its almost like the entire thing revolves about the message rather than the gameplay.

No, Subnautica 1 is grandfathered in. That's the problem with anti-woke peeps like you. There's no consistency. For example, I don't like Zombie Media as a whole, I think it's ridiculous and has more or less destroyed the horror genre. I don't go around saying, "Everything after this point is bad, but everything before this point is good and I love it." No. I hate all of it.

But when comes to culture warriors like yourself, there's a cut off date for wokeness, doesn't matter if similar games made today with the same exact messaging in the same way, they're woke today, but not woke before that cutoff date.
