Back in the day we called these "Guide Dang Its", as in something so far out of the regular gameplay a person had to look them up to figure it out. This is where Fresh Start has come with a couple of the achievements added later. In the Garden level no one should be looking outside of a wall they normally can't breach to find a cow and a hat. That's not an Easter egg, it's not fun, it's just frustrating. And apparently the original Steam version had a hole in the wall where the hat was seeable? That makes sense--something out of place, so why was the wall 'fixed'?

I also noticed these later updates did no favors to the automatic sprinkler and a few other things. Even with all the bugs I still managed to get 100% on every level on my first go-round a couple of years ago. It looked to me like the fix for the problem levels was simply to lower the requirements. That's just sloppy.

Also, I see spraying to grow plants is now completely wonky, as in often the crosshairs are far away from the plant you're trying to water in order to get it to grow. The sprinkler works worse than ever on plants too and a lot more of them were nearly impossible to get any water on at all.

This is one of the few games I'd really enjoy seeing a sequel for but this last play-through has pretty much squelched that desire.
