Marcus/Rosa/Kaidan/Naomi/Melissa with high difficulties in Stage 2, otherwise I mostly did 1 and 2 star missions, with the exception being some ST capturing along the way.

Stage 4 is no joke and the main incentive there is that you get tokens for some exclusive decals to add to your mechs so you could just do the level 30 version if you don't care for them or if you just want an easier/faster time.

You get two chances to reset and try again either way!

aybe I should try level 40 since as you've said I could reset, but maybe I should do a level 30 max stars to see If it would be worth it.

Were you the kind of player who'd just Jeep around the edge of the map. Quiet cap flags then run away? As someone who's played YEARS of BF and CoD. This is kinda reminicent of OLD CoD. but that doesn't make it bad. It's nothing at all like how CoD has been for over 5 years.

As for getting 'Shot once and die'. The TTK is due to netcode issues and makes it seem like you're only taking one shot before dying. Though BF3/4 had very similar death times outside of this.

While I do SEE some resemblance of BF3 and BF4, that is only in resemblance to Metro and Locker where you just throw bodies at objectives. There is hardly any tactical or stealth gameplay to BF6. Every engagement is a full on shootout and with TTK being so fast, you either get the drop on a group or get dropped on, or just kill one player before the next walks in and kills you.

try a virtual machine with windows 10 installed so you can freely change versions
I won't lie it is a rattle to set up but it's worth it.

I think what is causing the problems is the ***driver. I'm using a driver from October 2024 (566.03), simply because the ones from November and December started to give me performance problems in other games.

*** Some developers have confirmed that latest drivers are causing major performance issues in games and they recommend using the old driver 566.36 on RTX 40/30/20 and GTX.

These have been in the key bind settings the whole time. You can also change them if you want.

You can cancel the install and it will let you start however it will retry every time you start the game. Once it installs once and is removed it leaves you alone after that.
