if it's your first time, yes, you need to beat the final boss of the base game to unlock elite/ulitmate (you can still start on Veteran)
if it's not your first time, and you own forgotten gods, a char you've reached ultimate on and cleared act 1 can buy a token to unlock elite/ultimate for lvl 1 alt chars

Hi, how can I zoom in on console using a controller?

Even on my big TV I cannot see the weapons, mines, etc.

Didn’t the original zoom in / out automatically top?
