Didn't like it. Gave it a good shot. There are multiple things that I don't like about Risk of Rain.
1. Endless runs
2. little to no meta progression
3. power ranges are so absurd game loses it's identity/gameplay later in the run. The game feels like a joke at that point and is only fun feeling like a super hero for a one run. Come back in a year to only find out why I didn't like it again.
4. rogue likes can hold you in game for more than an hour and it gets tiring.

Roguelikes should be considered a mode and not the main part in a game that could have better design.

The reason why indie developers gravitate to a roguelikes is that they don't have the man power to make multiple maps. It allows them to make one continuous map that would last the play an hour to complete.

At least ROR has variety in enemies on level
Gunshit always give same enemies on level

Tunnelers have bug when they enter tunnel, the model and the hitbox still exist in the surface, make it furnarable against arrow

yeah saw the announcment a few hours ago, hope it gets fixed for real tho, this game is a nice gem but needs some polish

lgibsonjr1, gave you the solution to building the Space Elevator about 10 days ago. A perfect way to bake your cake and eat it too. Personally, lean towards Triggers first approach to using the Elevator. I just don't.

Oh, and look a little closer and you'll see; Build it on a traffic restricted sealed loop road and all those cars that have stopped spawning from the Elevator? Well in just a little bit you'll find out that they've just tunneled or transported under and started bubbling up somewhere else. Build the Space Elevator get Traffic plain and simple.

But here's one for yous to naw on. Why does the 15k VA limit keep OP's garbage trucks from spawning but not all that traffic spilling out of the SE in DZshot's thread?

Yeah I get what you’re saying about traffic being unavoidable with the SE, but in my case it wasn’t cars flooding the roads or clogging up services, it was actual waves of people just pouring out on foot. Looked like a tourist gold mine at first, but the crazy part is that even with those crowds, the overall tourist numbers across my city dropped hard. So instead of traffic headaches, I ended up with worse tourism and a giant maintenance bill on top. Pretty rough tradeoff for a "monument."

That save I am working on with an elevator. I moved the thing to a better road structure. I too see hordes of people exiting the building all the time. I too notice the over all tourist count drop now that I turned it on again. It is a slow but constantly dropping.
Is the elevator always black in the transit view, even thou it shows as operating?

I had small hopes they’ll at least add 1 map, but it was way too much for Bandai. Still no space map, even though it was pretty iconic moment, Beerus vs Goku.

It’s also hilarious how this forum is completely abandoned, there are still the same topics that I saw in November 2024

Just type "no super saiyan bardock" where it says search discussions. Then go to page 6, comment #81 for a perfect example of what you yourself mentioned. Calling out the same topics being perpetuated instead of playing the game will have you get tired of winning for literally half a year so you have to be careful.
