You can play the beta if you're curious about the upcoming mechanics and want to give early feedback on them before they hit the public build. If you don't care about that you can just wait until they're merged into the main exe.

OK, pretty clear thanks. Will you still be processing feedback from players that do not join the beta? I have read a lot of usefull suggestions and comments sofar, simply based on the fact that you are in devolpment stage (EA). Or will communication with beta players prevail?

Yes. The Wretch is viewed as any named minion. There are even some cases where a Wretch can be called a specifically named evil minion (Scout for example). However, if a Villager calls a Wretch by their real name, they're either Evil or Corrupted as a Villager does not see a Wretch as a Wretch.

In the case where you use a Dreamer on a Wretch, they will call the Wretch a cabbage. If they don't, it's a Corrupted or Evil Dreamer.

The Wretch is also one of the Outcasts among Drunk and Doppleganger who Evil cannot disguise themselves as.

You forgot about taxes. Even if you want to pause the Dune in waiting of the better times and have a base in "passive mode" with 1-3 tier 1 generators to keep it alive and a lot of batteries in chests you need:
1)Keep the Dune client on PC
2)Recharge generators every 20 days
3)Pay tax for your base every 1-2 weeks or the base's shields will go down and storms or other players will destroy it.

The only alternative is bank deposit with limited slots and inventory of your character.
