Steam loves their cheaters... it`s big money ;) Any sane person has uninstalled by now
they definitely do anything in their power to defend them, literally, that's why VAC 3.0 or VAC AI doesn't ban... like this guy said, uninstall it's the only way at this point. There's so many people devs and games out there that are worth your time than this trash game.

This is coming from someone who played original in 1997-98 before open beta, the game has always been trash since GO and been a cheater fest, atleast in GO, the devs actually cared and implemented measures to stop cheating, then, magicly, those measures they used to use like phone numbers and Overwatch all disappeared... hmmm... i wonder why.

VAC is an effective system, stop spreading misinformation.

Well I'm sure there's a point, i.e. a practical, worthwhile purpose to playing a build where you run with a shield. But the implementation of what the shield gives you is ridiculous and uninteresting.

A game could have shields do nothing but provide you with bonus damage much like how off-hand spellcaster items work in many games. It'd be strong and serve a purpose, but the fact it's not actually doing shield things is absurdly stupid.

And I have a 4060 TI, it runs fine for me so this is probably a user error on your part. Running smooth is dependent on the user. People are just finding reasons to hate the game at this point, a legit hate campaign because they refuse to lower their settings to fit the hardware. sure its not a perfect game and it has some flaws but none of those are game breaking unless you expect absolute perfection. Nobody is shilling for a bad game, ask anyone who enjoys the game if it had its hiccups and they'd agree. Also 600 hours and only a handful of hard crashes on a supposedly "Unplayable game" so Id say you are one of those who only harbor hate because of unrealistic standards.

im guessing you don't even try to get stable 60fps without putting every single setting on low.
it's not unrealistic for a game to look decent on current day hardware without massive lag and stuttering. that's not unrealistic, that's just expected of a triple A game.
just because you got used to bad graphics and awful framerates doesn't mean everyone has a standard that low.

I have the gamea settings about in the middle, I let the game decide what's best and it just works. Is their an occasional stutter, maybe a visual glitch in the background? Absolutely their is, but you don't need stable 60 fps at all. It varies and that's okay. The way your ill talk you'd think the game is imploding on itself 24/7 when most people don't have any game breaking issues. But they are working on it as the TU's come out so just give it time and in the meantime be quiet, they know very well it could be better so let them work. Truthfully though, I don't even pay attention to frames, because on performance mode it just works and still looks great.

It's important that you die to keep it fresh and exciting, right? But they already released that way, so it feels bad if they change it so much.
