Not every single player game needs to have multi-player, co-op or pvp to be an enjoyable game. Especially because no one but the devs know how difficult or easy it would be to add that function to the games code as it is today. I'm glad that there are usable mods out there for the people who want it, and hey maybe the devs will look to those for ideas should they decide to ever add it to the game officially.

I'm done troubleshooting UE5 slop games that look worse and more demanding than the ones developed with Cryengine, ID Tech and even UE4.

Exactly this. Now when a game is announced, the first thing I check is if its Unreal Engine. The second if it has Denuvo. Even Unity Engine games run better these days.
