I did play most MGS game on the console, I own every MG game on PC and i've finished MGS DELTA so in short the answer would be yes but I'll explain.

I don't meet the recommanded config so I was a bit worried, I went with the recommanded config regardless but was scared and the game ran fine, no issues nor crash and I had a blast, the graphisms are so good, the new sound design really improve the atmosphere, I've played the game in the new style and it took some time to adapt, there are legacy controls that I've quicly tested and it's like OG controls so for 70$ you get a remaster-like and a remake.

The game does have some changes that doesn't make it a remake, you have a quick camo setting that take 1-2 seconds to change camo and it save your outfits too so If you are using a scientist outfit but want to change to something that allow to shoot you hold the down D-PAD button select it and wait a sec or two and boom done.

Remember the 64 kerotans ? Well there are more stuff to collect on the field (over double the amount) and the neat part is that you don't have to collect everything in a single run, even kerotans, I won't spoil why but I'm glad that Konami made it so.

MGS DELTA is the definitive way to play MGS3, it include all the content MGS3 in MC VOL1 didn't have, the Guy Savage DELTA is not like the OG tho, they went a bit harder on it.

No need to check online on how to achieve ranks the game tell you and warn you what items invalid ranks.

With mods you can expect more content and later on we get FOX HUNT, MGO4 I guess.

So yes I would recommend it even for an old fan even just because it doesn't play like a PS2 game, the Volgin fist fight as been improved thanks to CQC having another ability.

I've done one run out of many so you'll probably do this at least:
- Delta style
- Legacy style
- FOXHOUND rank

Then you can 100% the game and if you want a challenge you can do a GOLD Snake run, it requiere the DLC tho, it make the game harder while it as some use too, another would be using the Battle dress (PW) because it slow you down, there are more challenges but you got it.

In order to unlock EE you need to beat EXTREME first, I don't know why but I guess I'll discover that soon. Hope that help.

Вообще микрофризы и статеры в 90% случаев из-за оперативной памяти. либо нехватки объёма. либо низкая ПСП и высокая задержка, докупи ещё одну плашку 8гб. стоит она копейки( главное напряжение выбери подходящее, у ноутов бывают приколы с этим) и будет гораздо лучше

Liest hier eigentlich irgendjemand die verschiedenen Threads? Ich mein... da sind mittlerweile etliche zum selben Thema, und ja, die Devs haben da tatsächlich schon mal drauf geantwortet... Just like in normal game, going out of your way just to tunnel does not work, except that here you take even higher risks because of aoe healing spell and escapists, you're far better going for opportunistic playstyle, tunneling in 2v8 is the very least concern one can have about this gamemode..

aoe heals and Escapist exist even against survivors without cage stages (makes no difference) — so that’s not really an argument.

Targeting at this point isn’t tunneling anymore; the player still has every chance to get away. They’re just the prime target in that moment.

Taking 1–2 people out earlier always weakens the group mathematically, same as in normal mode. Eight survivors up means eight sets of hands sitting on gens — and even the worst players can still hold M1. Focusing the weaker link or the one closer to death is simply efficient target selection.

Are you playing B42? If you opt in for the unstable then it's likely the cause.

But if you are playing B41, the out of the box version, then the tutorial should work. You need to activate the controller on the main menu, then enter the tutorial while in controller. The tutorial then should be adjusted to the controller version.

There are a few mutually exclusive achievement pairings (can only get one of the pair per playthrough) based on choices you make during the game (rescuing Zote, slaying the Nailsmith, banishing the Grimme Troupe)

Plus as TheOrangeSeal4367 said, there are the Steel Soul achievements, and you can only play on Steel Soul difficulty once you complete the game.
