The difference is though this time theyre much more transparent. With 2042 they didnt show much until the beta then everyone saw the signs.

Theyre showing way more of the game this time. Maybe because they know they genuinely have a good game.

2042 was actually going to be a hero shooter BR. But then they changed their mind changing direction mid development made it a mess.

This game is not good. It's CoD light. Medic is there to force push objective, before it was holding positions. Engi is there to potentially take tanks out but is mostly there to rocket players. Jet/Heli are non-existent threats. Sniper is to not snipe, of course, since you can just use every gun, their equipment is not even used 80% of the time by players now. 'Assault' is the go to, for shotgun spam with a rifle. This weekend is worse than the last. Went from very popular on my friends list to skipped over for the second beta weekend. Scripting/hacking is destroying what little playerbase is attempting to play legit. The fact they even needed to ban well over 200k, which is nearly one-third of the player base currently should speak volumes.

I don't know if this will help but it fixed my issue but make sure your GameOverlayRenderer.log in your steam folder ( ..\Steam\GameOverlayRenderer.log) is set to a read me only by right click and going into properties and tick read only. PS5 for some reason access this file a lot even if it disable not sure why but give that a try.

Yup, that's what they're saying. Sadly.

I recommend just disabling the chat, enabling anonymous mode and just playing however you want, they didn't pay for the game for you, you owe them nothing. They will always find something to cry about, no matter whether you sweat, play casually, tunnel, slug, play super fairly or not or even admit defeat and DC/letting them win. They will be toxic in chat afterwards either way. "Tunneler, Slugger, Bot, You got juiced, You're bad" etc etc. whether you 4k or 0k doesn't matter, they'll even call you bad if you 4k within 2 minutes. They don't play the game to have fun, they play for the confrontations, to be hostile towards other people. Ignore them, don't give them your time of day.

I'm 49 and I've definitely slowed down. In a face to face I lose a lot. Just play sneakier. The better players die just as fast as anyone else when they don't check their 6.

My beta KD is only 1.16 though, so I dont know how reliable my advice is.

honestly amanda and marlow are the only person who have a ship to escape the station . would probably hide somewhere with ethanol till the end .

Hard disagree. The weapons were always too weenie and the low level enemies too meaty for my liking. But to each their own.

First off, there are Wings in the exit room, so you don't need to stay close.
Secondly, If you looked around, you'd have noticed the the Ring of Invincibility and 200 armor up on the cliff.

Or you could simply teleport out. Liches will teleport out too, but they won't walk down the stairs, easy pickings.
For the Maultour, you can get him stuck in the lava pit, then you can easily delete him with tomed hellstaff.

To be clear, i meant the level as a whole and was referring to the earlier fight with two liches in the dark area past the maze. Though i played through Heretic and it's expansion years ago, i haven't touched it in a long time, so don't know how much of this is from the original level versus the remaster. But my experience of playing through it recently on the remaster was... this level is absolute BS and if they made any part of it easier, good.
