Change "Jump" key to "Use" key = Jump. I see no point in having a key I do not wish to use as jump when presented with a "press activation" to function when we already have one.

Honestly PvP games have only gotten worse since the early days of CoD lobbies.

It's why I always look at any of those "Why is nobody talking/using mics?" threads that show up and all I can think is "There's a good chance if you look in a mirror you'll find the answer".

Even more so when you know the moment you turn on VC you'll hear some teenager who apparently "knows" your mom lol.

My favorite base is an abandoned school South of Coalfield, North of KY-144 and down Buffalo Rd.

Although it's mostly destroyed, it's the perfect place to build skills (carpentry and fishing mainly). It's secluded, isn't often populated by many zombies, has a large perimeter fence (with few holes), plenty space to do whatever and, it has a lake right next to it.

It has three buildings to it. The School itself (with four spacious floors), a dorm (three or four floors (I can't remember atm)) and, a greenhouse. There's also a little tool shed.

It's the kind of base that you repair and remodel to your desire. And with the school being so large, it makes for an excellent mansion (after the floor plan is altered).

The only downsides about it is the road leading to it. Buffalo Rd is partially destroyed (though fixable), 80% dirt (meaning trees and bushes can grow on it) and is heavily obscured by trees. It's quite the trek on foot and keeping an eye out for zombies along the way is difficult, but worth it (in my opinion).

The announcement trailer looks great and I'm really excited to learn more about your version. Basing the game more heavily off of Europa 1400 is a phenomenal idea and gives me a lot of hope because I've had hours of fun with that game!

In many ways, even that game was a buggy mess, but getting a modern remake out gives me hope for enough support over the next few years that most bugs can get ironed out and the gameplay can become a more fully fleshed out version of the original.

Nostalgia is deeply rooted and regardless of the sad feelings a lot of fans have about the last attempt at a remake, if you make it they will come! Just look at the recent success of Titan Quest 2. I know I immediately bought in because it looked like a loyal enough sequel and Titan Quest remains my favorite ARPG. Europa 1400 is still the best game for its unique style and my impression is that Saelig is your only meaningful competition.

And let's be real here, I never bought the Guild 3 because it didn't look like a high quality loyal remake at all, but the gameplay footage from your announcement trailer has me immediately excited because it looks exactly like how I would imagine a faithful modernisation of Europa 1400.
