That's a great reason for mods. Thanks to the devs that allow and cater to them in their games.

Hi Valve Team,

I’ve got a small request as someone who’s been playing Dota for years. Back in the day I used to run the game on an older laptop with zero problems, I even played with it on my lap. Now on my HP Pavilion Gaming 15 (i7 9th gen), the main menu itself overheats the system and sometimes I end up missing or canceling a match.

The problem is the penalty feels way too strong in these cases. I find myself waiting for hours, and after a few repeats I get stuck in Single Draft for months. Meanwhile, anyone on Dota Plus can requeue, cancel, and keep going without the same punishment.

My suggestion: maybe the system could check the PC’s state at the moment of match accept, and if there’s a clear issue (like overheating or a crash), don’t punish the player so harshly. That way people with legit problems aren’t treated the same as someone intentionally dodging.

I really love the game, just hoping for a bit more flexibility here.

Quality of written dialog notoriously differs per language in Trails games.

Was literally waiting to buy this for my son when the sale came up. Is there still a link to it somewhere or has it been replaced with the different “editions?”
