Hi all,

In this game I seem to be having with FPS dropping to 40/50 and sometimes a bit less with some stuttering here and there. I've done the fix with the appdata folder and it's created a cache file all OK.

I've forced the GPU to high performance in nvidia CP but still this game does not utilise the GPU correct, it's only running at a small percentage of it's GPU clock. Temps are very low all around which makes me think something is holding back it running correctly.

I have tried setting the CPU to use one core via task manager but no difference was noticed.

I have a 5800X3D CPU and a Nvidia 3060 Ti @ 1440p UW.

I've dropped the in game AA to 4x as I've read helps and it does a bit but still it doesn't seem right.

Other games are running fine.

Ok try this : load your save, open the console (ctrl + ~)

Type: jobs_numthreads 1

This command fix the random FPS drops for some people (worked for The New Order and The Old Blood too).

i think this may have fixed it for me thanks a bunch!!!

Try this command, for a lot of people, it fixed this issue.

honestly just go to azuz and melt things down into spheres... unless you're trying to upgrade every set of armor in the game smelting at azuz is the best way to get spheres if you're making a set from time to time because you should have alot of extra mats and if you're hunting high rank stuff they smelt for alot more so yeah

I didn't even know this was a thing, thank you. I've been playing for 130 hours (which for me, is not a lot for a base MH game) but once I did the maths on the event quest, it seems crazy the amount of time you need to play, for the amount of spheres you get. I will look into smelting, thanks.

Same and it's not even close. I thought I was misremembering but I installed 2042 right after the first run of the beta and it is far more enjoyable.

valheim was changing into something that i didnt expect it was going to be, even it was far lot different than the original roadmap.
