WHY would you even think of using unreal 5? unless you are extremely talented and know how to bring unreal 5 to parity with ue4 for the same visual quality , unreal 4 or a stable unity version was the only logical choice for a game like this and of this small scale

Please stop making Epic out to be the innocent small party here. They literally just settled a lawsuit for 245 million dollars because they collected data on children. That isn't an ongoing lawsuit like the one you are providing, that one is settled.

Epic is not some small time company just trying to get their foot in the door. They are a behemoth in their own right.

What you talked about has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand. Which by the way, Valve would most likely get into the same exact trouble if the FTC ever gets their sites on Valve.

it doesn't matter if someone is a big company or a small company, they all have to deal with the fallout of the anti-consumer and anti-competitive tactics of Valve.

What you are providing is on going litigation that has been in the courts since 2021. It is not a settled case. Just because ONE person put in an affidavit saying they believe Valve is getting favored nation status, doesn't make it true. In what you provided he was arguing against another guys affidavit that came to the opposite conclusion. To be be fair in this small amount of time I didn't read all 214 pages, but I think I got the general idea.

Besides if what you are saying is true how does Green Man gaming and Humble Bundle and Fanatical exist. They sell games with Steam keys and many times they are cheaper then Steam. I just bought a game from Green Man gaming because it was cheaper there then here on Steam.

My point from the the startr has been I don't believe that EGS should pay for exclusives to try to steal away a fan base from where the game started. Hence like I said most of the games they pay for are sequels. The do it for the sole purpose of trying to force people to their sub-par launcher. That is as anti-consumer as anything your touting.

I like it better than BF6. Using drone to mark people as they try to shoot you down is a game in itself. BF6 beta had no good maps, none have that large epic BF feel, this game I thought had bad maps when I played on release but now going back to it some are really fun. No POI's in BF6 maps, just very ugly boring maps.

Only thing I was hoping for is not being forced to play as females, and BF6 does that and now 2024 has males in all classes too.
BF6 might be worth getting in a year once the player complain long enough to get the features we want in it but as of now it's just a stripped down BFV with modern coat.

The amount of people getting bent out of shape when a woman is a playable character in a video game is insane.

It's not about being "bent out of shape", it's about being able to play for your own sex.
I don't mind women characters in video games if I don't have to play as a woman.
Unfortunately, in latest battlefields, you are FORCED to do it.
And people are actually being banned on steam forums by EA admins for just wanting to play as a man.
No reasons, or explanations of which rules are broken.
Why it's so hard to make a sex to be an option, so women can play as women and men as men?
