I agree about excessive dialog. Sometimes I'm just getting through my day and I don't want to spam a button just to do basic things.

I do think there are more bugs than I would like. Some of them more major than others. I was softlocked once and just couldn't open doors, sometimes the supporter outfit won't load, it's really easy to walk OOB. This game does need a lot of polish for such a basic game there really isn't justification for it.

I also think there needs to be some stakes in the game. It's basically impossible to lose. It's a business simulator with no bottom line. Even during the second act slump I didn't feel at risk of anything. If anything it was a relief because I could focus on other things. Really the only challenge in the game would be for speedrunners looking to optimizing their day count because lost profits just translates into extra days.

I also think there are a lot of loose ends that feel like there was a plan but it was abandoned. The mine, action house, mysterious figure, and most of the town seem like had a purpose, but really it's just there with no good explanation.

Finally, I was really disappointed in the main arc of the game. Early marketing made it seem like expansion was a choice with consequences. Like "do you want to stay small and suffer with smaller profits for the sake of the community or do you chase profits?" That is never a choice. The story demands that you expand. I would have liked to have to make that choice and maybe even have different endings, and story quests related to those choices.

It's not necessary a bad game, but it is pretty middle of the road, that wasted its one unique component and just ends up being another cookie cutter cozy game that will be completely forgotten by next year.
I wanted to touch upon the dead ends and unanswered things. LOTS of things are interactable with that sorta FEEL like you are supposed to do something with it.

the shed behind your trailer. the closed down antique shop under discounty, the mines, the broken down house in the nice neighborhood. etc. they all feel like they are supposed to be things. whether they are expansions to the store. LORE for characters like your aunt, secrets of the town, or a house upgrade for the player

yet NONE of these things are expanded upon.

they even hint that something weird is going on in the shed and NEVER expound upon it. genuinely curious lol.
