If you’ve been playing Conqueror’s Blade for any meaningful amount of time — especially this current season — you already know how far this game has fallen. What was once a unique concept has devolved into a shameless, pay-to-win cash grab.

The developers haven’t just neglected their own creative vision; they’ve actively undermined it. This season’s design choices manage to insult and distort the very culture and history the game is supposed to celebrate. It’s as if accuracy and respect were thrown out the window in exchange for quick monetization tactics.

The pay-to-win mechanics aren’t subtle. They’ve been pushed so aggressively that skill and effort are irrelevant compared to how much you’re willing to spend. This isn’t game progression — it’s financial gatekeeping disguised as content.

Worse, the publisher appears to be engaged in coordinated review manipulation. Every so often, they roll out waves of suspiciously positive reviews from accounts with 1–2 hours of playtime. This isn’t an opinion — it’s a recognizable pattern. Such practices not only violate Steam’s review policies, but in many jurisdictions they cross into illegal territory regarding false advertising and deceptive marketing.

To the community: stop rewarding this behavior. Don’t enable developers and publishers who prioritize quick cash over honest game design. Report fake reviews when you see them. Every manipulated rating contributes to the decay of trust in the industry and hurts players in the long run.

What’s happening with Conqueror’s Blade isn’t just one bad season — it’s a case study in how greed can ruin a game and erode an audience. The only winning move here is to walk away, speak up, and stop giving them money to fuel this cycle.

Having charges and cooldowns make Dodge a mechanic that requires a bit of planning and consideration, rather than "do it all the time".
You can upgrade it to have more charges, longer dashes, increasing attack and movement speed, increasing damage output, and several other things. If you could do it "all the time", all of that would be completely broken compared to what we have now.
Anything that improves cooldown or movement cooldown rate works on dodge.


Barrier is not useless even at base, and it is more effective if you specialize in it. You can upgrade it to heal you, to remove ailments and greatly improve in strength and duration.
Some masteries can further improve it(actively and passively), and you can find equipment that further improves it.
You can make tank builds that never take health damage, if that is something you want to try.
So barriers can be strong, if you build around it.


If you dont want to push too many buttons, you can do so without ever needing to use barrier or dodge. Play on Easy, and pick Warfare as one of your masteries and go for max health and health regen. Then you can facetank everthing while you auto attack everything to death with little effort.

exactly, "godmode" from the get go seems like a bad idea.

The entire point of Titan Quest is to develop your character into a God over time.

Not retreat system ( retreating in 40k is gay)
Base building
Upgradable listening post and defenses
Know back mechanics
Superb voice acting


In another words, dawn of war is not company of heroes in space (DOW2) and dawn of war is not a MOBA (Dow2)

Again, SecureBoot isn't by EA. It's a windows security feature considered critical and has been a requirement for games before BF6 and will be required by many more games in the near future as the OS moves to Windows 11.

Cheaters can keep crying about SecureBoot, it makes for good entertainment.

Egal wie viele das schreiben, ihr beharrt weiterhin auf extrem hell und glitzernd im Spiel, vor allem der viel zu viele Shroud! Gestern konnte ich gar nichts mehr sehen, vor allem ♥♥♥♥♥, wenn ich die Licht-Flüssigkeit vom Alchimisten verwende.
Vielleicht könntet ihr ja ♥♥♥♥♥ nur mit eueren High-Tech-PCs spielen, sondern auch mal mit alten Grafikkarten, um zu sehen, wie euer Game immer unspielbarer wird; ich meide inzwischen den Shroud wo ich kann, ist ♥♥♥♥♥ mehr lustig halb-blind da durch zu laufen!

You're not alone. Don't let anyone tell you what you should like and what not. The game is not everyone's cup of the but that doesn't mean you can not enjoy it. It feels like everytime you mention you have fun with a game despite it not being perfect for everyone, you'll get destroyed by hate comments.
