Well, now Battlefield has me screwed. Do I really have to touch the BIOS? Safe boot? I can't. The PC freezes and won't boot at all. Why do you want to get into the kernel? We all know it's useless. Are you trying to do the same thing as CoD? This is bothering me, and I'm not going to play along like a tame lion. For now, I won't buy it or recommend it.

Yes, it's a bit extreme of them to do this "Secure boot" thing, thank God my PC already had it.

The other bad news is that Call of Duty will also require it in the near future, so it's better for players to do it now rather than later before more games require it.

Well, let them shove the requirements wherever they want. I have several EA games, including Battlefield 1, and they work perfectly, and it also says something about the kernel. What else do they want? Eyeprints? Fingerprints? Hair to know your DNA? With private servers, there weren't these kinds of problems, and you knew where and with whom you were playing. What are they up to?
This smells like the path CoD took, and I don't like it at all. I'll wait for now. Another free-to-play Warzone in Battlefield like in CoD? We already know how it works, and no thanks. I'll wait to see the events and what they've released to sell. I don't want to be surprised by finding a ninja turtle or who knows what. For now, NO.

Honestly love it. Though i had to make adjustments to graphics settings because by default it's a bit rubbish. Dynamic resolution with FSR is a must for a smooth experience. And damn is it smooth. I'm not a huge fan of 2 of 3 maps available because the focus is largely on closed quarters. The one map that has a decent amount of space, the one in the mountains, is my favorite and feels the most "Battlefieldy". That being said, playing King Of The Hill in the other two is pretty fun. That mode has the same pace as 2007 COD.
Also took me a while to realize that Conquest is not traditional Conquest. Closed Weapon Conquest is the traditional Conquest mode where every class has unique weapons.

Anyway, i'm gonna be buying it on launch.

Censor PC toggle and fix modded maps

Played exclusively PVP after finishing the game on launch. I quit because teams were never balanced in terms of level, so the higher level team always wins because better gear is locked behind levels.

I come back a year later hoping things have improved.... but teams are still not being scrambled after matches, teams are still not balanced around level averages.

they are really taking the piss at pvp aren't day?
