You can change the weapon FOV separately and make it lower to make the scope closer to your face but it makes the gun ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ huge on your screen. it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid, the scopes with zoom are basically unusable to me as they're so disorienting. I get a red dot being far from your eyes but not the equivalent of an acog, or especially the 12x scope. The eye relief is going to be so short that you wouldn't be able to hold it that far away.

That sucks, honestly. Game breaking bugs can really kill motivation, especially if you're not sure it'll be fixed by the time you restart. Stuff like this is exactly why I think stronger support and clearer update communication matter during Early Access.

You just posted the hour long Grounded Dev video where they address all of these things and say theyre listening. And say theres a patch tomorrow. What more communication would you like in week 1?

That dev video is great, and I’m glad they put it out. I’m not saying they aren’t communicating at all. I just think that during the first week of Early Access, it helps to have more visible updates directly in the game client or on Steam.

Not everyone watches hour-long videos or checks Discord. Even short patch notes or a simple roadmap update on the front page can go a long way toward keeping casual players from dropping off early. The communication is happening, for sure. It just needs to be easier for more people to actually see it.

Well you can't even anchor in the middle of the ocean lol so that's pointless. I'd just be anchored about 100m off shore, just outside the radius of the marina, to avoid paying the fee and the avoid being close to people.

Whenever I need food or want to explore, just hop into the tender and go ashore. And I'm from Europe so I'd say in the Mediterranean anyway which has amazing satellite coverage.

I made the patch and installed it, but I didn't disable or uninstall anything so the number of mods didn't changed, and my original problems weren't fixed, so I guess that is not the answer. I'll try disabling the plugins in Vortex and see what happens, nothing good, I fear.

I tried Rimsort last night due to this topic. I got hit with an error. Now again it was last night so I can't remember what the error was but my thought process at the time was "Rimply is currently working, do I need to jump through hoops to make this one work?" and closed out of it.
