Yep, all fixed.

At 4K epic I don't quite average 120, but at 1440P epic it's about 165, so setting that locked to 120 with RTSS worked really well.

I have another question.

Have you ever considered adding DLSS? This would obviously be a game that really benefits from it.

BTW, it was using 100% of my GPU sustained at 4K and 99% at 1440p, so that's very impressive, very well optimised. I didn't noticed any shader or traversal stutter - yet. I have only played 10 minutes actual gameplay after the opening sequence.

If adding DLSS is too complex, I wonder if you'll consider adding a resolution percentage slider. The reason I ask this is I have to play it in fullscreen to get 1440p which is different to my desktop, and in windowed full screen it locks to my desktop which is 4K.

This is an issue with unreal engine games, with unity, you can set different resolutions in windowed full screen mode so it never interferes going back and forth to other tasks.

A simple resolution slider would be really helpful. For example, I would set it to 70%, a tad higher than 1440p which would look the same on a 17" laptop panel and be able to safely lock in 120 fps at all times. I say that about every unreal engine game really, a resolution slider is really helpful to run those in full screen windowed mode, but a lot of them do have DLSS I admit, or FSR.
Even FSR would solve it if DLSS has a cost involved (I believe FSR is open source, but I might be wrong).

чат гпт предложил установить версию 552.44 и обязательно используя "Чистую установку"

сработало. дай бог здоровья разрабам движка, который не коннектит с драйверами.

Playing through it again and those industry screens could be made a little easier. Unless I am doing something wrong, would be nice just to buy water / forage / insects etc directly from the settlement traders and put them directly into storage for industry use.

It is not a big thing but would help reduce time and clicks, just buying 5k water and dump it directly into the storage rather than buy it and manually put it in.

A game way of doing this is hire an extra hand to do it, so your not getting something for nothing.

Do you have any special reason for introducing so many updates all at once? It's not a complaint, haha.

Can I find it in any level 50+ area if I'm lucky? Or does it have to be like, an asteroid area or something? Thanks.

It's definitely going to take a little while, but Sims 4 when it was released... was worse than Inzoi, and I remember it fairly well. The reason why there's more to do in Sims 4 now is because it's been around for 11 years, and there's like 1000$ worth of DLCs.
