Why do spy players disguise as scout?

So are you going to elaborate or just say "nuh uh"? Because this point won't go anywhere if that's all you have to say.
I don't think it is possible to describe the different movement patters of different classes to someone who plays the game but doesn't see the difference. Imagine you were a zookeeper, how would you describe the different faces of your meerkats to someone who think they all look the same? If you don't see the difference irl, then text isn't going to convince you it's different.

And of those ten things, the one you do go for is the one where you don't get shot. It's not the number of things you should be focusing on, it's how impactful that thing is. Kill farming isn't beneficial for your team in the slightest no matter how hard you try to make it look like it does. Going for a sentry nest is, and that requires patience if you want results.
No, I'm telling you there are 10 good options that you should go for for every 1 you do go for. 10 things that you don't see because of your inexperience, not 10 things you see and choose not to go for. Kills can be a lot more impactful than a sentry nest. That sentry may be easy to take out for a demo, if that demo can get to it without having to fight through waves of other enemies. If you start killing a lot then the enemy will become paranoid and start wasting time chasing you too, taking pressure off your team. That sentry nest you took out on the other hand may be rebuilt before anyone on your team even notices it is out. Don't sit and wait at a sentry nest. Move with the flow of the match, then when your team is pushing just sap it and let your team take it out while it is disabled.

Disguising isn't going to make or break that though. You can't know for sure that there is going to be a Medic in that exact location by the time you get there in the first place. Getting caught up in all of the things you could be doing instead of keeping an eye on what the best time to act would be is just going to make you dead weight to your team. Not to mention that sloppy play like constantly using the same disguise and rushing for every possible opportunity to do something just to look useful is going to make you less effective. The enemy will get wise, you'll die a lot, and you'll miss out on big chances to make an impact on the game. Spy is a weak class, so letting those chances slip is a blunder.
With experience you can predict enemy movements better. When you get more experienced you can plan and react instead of just react. Reacting becomes almost instinct so your brain has capacity left over for other things. You're using words like "sloppy" for things you have no idea about. Why do you call my play sloppy? Have you seen me play? It isn't sloppy to go for more opportunities, it's efficient. No one says to use the same disguise every time.

Same with Scout, but you aren't using disguises on the frontlines where you need to shoot. Everybody is going to see you if you're in the frontlines anyways so you shouldn't be there. You have to act like you've got a good reason to be in the back. Effectively using a disguise requires you to craft a narrative that is convincing enough for the enemy team to not bat an eye in just a short interaction. You aren't going to be putting on a stageplay where you need to do all kinds of dynamic actions that you're incapable of doing. As long as you look like you should be there, the only people who won't buy the disguise are the paranoid ones.
While you can be in the backlines farming respawners, being in the frontlines is where you can get the medic and other high impact kills. That's where the enemy is distracted. It is very easy in the backlines for people to hear you uncloak, because there's no other sound. And you can easily get killed because chasing people is very obvious by the next respawner. Also killing the same poor noob over and over who never learns to look behind while walking back to the front after respawning is not a great help for your team.
You're the one who thinks I can't see the difference, this is not a situation where they all look the same to an untrained eye.

That is the exact thing that will get you killed and cause you to make no progress when the enemy is open. You have to choose your kills wisely. As a Spy, you want less attention, not more. More attention isn't going to grow paranoia, it's just going to make them wise to your tricks and start killing you. If you want to grow paranoia, you have to be unpredictable. Disguising exclusively as Scout and going for every possible kill isn't going to make you unpredictable, it's going to do the opposite. So basically, it's often better for you to not go for those ten because they'll end up shooting you in the foot if you don't die immediately. No other class is able to capitalize on every opportunity available because it'll have similar effects, Spy is not an exception and is impacted by this even more because he's a weak class.

Just like how my experience has led to me instantly ratting Spies out based entirely on their disguise. Anything that puts more attention on you at little cost to the enemy team's performance is sloppy, it really doesn't take a lot of time to spycheck and they're going to spycheck if they know to watch out for a Spy. Going for the same disguise over and over is sloppy, not picking your kills wisely is sloppy. Spy is a class that cannot function unless the enemy is not aware of him. People telling you to run Scout because it's the best disguise are pretty much telling you not to shake things up. If he's the best disguise and everyone's going to figure it out already, why should I shake it up? Wait that's what I'm supposed to be answering.

I've made my stance against kill farming very clear, don't bother with kills unless they're beneficial to your team. You do make a fair point on the frontlines, I kinda overlooked that. Still, my point stands. You need to craft a convincing narrative in the short amount of time you have in order to secure a kill. If you can't act like you should be there, the Medic or some other teammate that knows you're there is going to kill you before you can secure the kill.
