This happens to multiple controllers I have tried. At one point turned off steam controller then it was fine. played later on and the issue is back and constant. This has been happening to me since the bots first invaded cities.

Last time I played Project Nevada was the big thing but since it's been last updated in 2014 it's clear there must be better choices. I'm looking for some list or pack with most important stuff like QoL, bugfixes, sprinting etc. It would be nice if it allowed me to expand it later on with stuff I'll think of.
I saw quite often mentions of "Viva New Vegas" as something that could potentially fit the bill but I'd like to know your opinions before committing potentially hours to working on it.

struggling with ale production. I have 3 brewers and a malt house (full at the moment). I have tried to check advanced options adding reserves, removing reserves. Still nobody goes to get the malt and produce ale. This has me stunted as I cannot upgrade to level 3 housing. Did anyone find the magic that makes this work! I did rebuild the malt house several times and I have an upgraded granary. Any ideas would be helpful!! Love the game <3

One thing I have found, check your all your granaries and make sure you turn off ale (at the bottom). When I couldn't figure it out, I look there and almost always have it on. Once I turn it off, it seems to fix it

this still has the same issues as the other methods - certain things animate faster above 60fps (item boxes, animals, boss attacks, some enemy animations)

will the map size increase as new and bigger ships are added to the game?

Enemies that hit tower shields could get knocked back.

I thought they did... rudimentary testing with bone tower shield against lowbie enemies had them flying back extremely far when they hit the shield.

They could add a shield bash to tower shields.

Or perhaps that could be for medium shields only. So like, buckler = parry, medium shield = bash, tower shield = ????

You could sprint while blocking with a tower shield at the cost of stamina and it would knock anything in front of you out the way.

That sounds awesome (but it probably needs to do damage or how often would it actually come into play?)

Something, anything, medium shields are the middle ground, they are suppose to be the more boring jack of all trades master of non option. But that was given to tower shields for whatever reason.

Can't you attack while holding a tower shield and spear? Or is that more a function of the spear and not the tower shield?

Yeah towers do knockback, no you can't attack with spear while blocking but it's the easiest to give a little poke when there's a safe opportunity.
