Probably exists in the next difficulty, Oblivion. You start with a central node that unlocks max relic space and max skill level. Except I can only get up to skill level 7. Previously, I could go up to skill level 8 in Ascension.

When those difficulty are unlock please?

Your concept is solid and ambitious, but as a hobby gamedev I can say it’s way too complex for a single sprint. I tried to extract the essence of your ideas and break it down into something more realistic for a first implementation. Right now, the game has three major problems:

1.Closed Beta nolifers griefing solos and noobs
2.Boring and punishing DD endgame
3.No long-term motivation to stay

So here’s a cut-down version based on your ideas:

1.Introduce real factions (Atreides vs Harkonnen) for identity and conflict
2.Add separate DD entrances to create frontlines and territory dynamics
3.Implement random PvP hotspots to keep encounters meaningful and varied
4.Create safe zones for solos to reduce griefing and help new players engage
5.Make safe zones unprofitable or restrictive for large squads so they don’t camp or exploit them

This would already fix the core frustrations and lay a foundation for your more complex systems down the road.

It's definitely not critical, just odd. :)

It's a souls game. Player agency is never a smart idea if you plan on completing quests in your first playthrough. I didn't look up the bosses but I did look up quests online, so I knew about the ferry before I ever defeated the tiger boss.

if you want them for free its just pure luck i have 633 hours and have four so far so i think its just luck

Mod Icon and 1.5 gene crafting issues has been resolved in the recent update.
