Explain triple speed buff and Respawn at desired location ??

Erwins ult buff (being catnipped) + skill bonuses can easily get you in the range of triple default speed. Bunny moves faster when taking fire, croc moves faster after picking up an axe and or in ambush, Erwin can self buff speed, ex. This isnt even considering skill based movements like fox bunny-hopping out of a slide to cover massive distances. When played right alot of characters can be insanely fast.

You can respawn on anyone in your squad not currently taking damage. You can also respawn on Ulys respawn points he can drop anywhere. In addition to any point you control. People will also create Uly tunnels from a control point respawn to a flank to just appear there.

That's why I wanted the statistics. Ten samples don't provide a conclusive evidence, and you mentioning Tachikawa and Haitani returning to Classic despite their great performance with Modern still left me confused.

If Haitani somehow split in two, played against himself, and Modern Haitani won, that would mean M > C. And that's the core of your whole argument.

Nostalgia is definitely a valid factor and it's not even "nostalgia". Someone who spends three+ decades practicing an instrument is not going to dump it completely. The fact is, once they switched to M they got their best results (by very far, which AGAIN is my point). That's the only fact we have, rest is you making up your own assumptions to fit your narrative while I present facts and evidence.

But even your "100% of pro players will switch to M" has very weak logic behind it. Is this why not all of them are playing the top 1 character, and we are seeing even Manon in EWC today? Or why are they not ALL using hitboxes, when it is objectively the best control? Yet the most common are stick and controls?

Preferences mean nothing if it makes them lose. While I couldn't find any statistics on the pro scenes, the character with the lowest win rate in the master rank on July 2025 is Modern Akuma at 48% win rate, and the highest win rate is Classic Honda at 51% win rate. The statistics is spread so evenly unlike in Apex Legends where every single team would have the exact same composition in every tournament.

They said they want us to give access to the game as fast as possible so we can give feedback early! so I would assume we're gonna have a closed beta before the end of 2025!

Update looks great but, last patch completely broke the game for me. I saved my progress and when i went back, I could no longer access the Manor it looks like it went back to its destroyed state. Lost the money I spent on it, and everything that I put in it. It's a beta so, its cool. Just FYI. I'll probably wait for the official update to play again.
