Not sure why you would bother with PvE, no challenge at all. You will go to areas and they will already be cleared. Completing tasks does not feel rewarding. Maybe if they upped the difficulty it could be fun. But currently there's not much of a point to doing only PvE.

I think the easiest fix to this problem would be to make it so when you die as scum or cortex those respective roles are locked temporarily. Maybe 5-30 minutes depending on how long you were alive. That way every cortex or scum death is valuable. When a player dies they can't instantly respawn as their previous role and pretend like nothing happened.

Logs should make planks at a sawmill and bridges should use planks. Consider that.
