I have the same issue. Beat the game 100%, reset all progress and played for about 20 minutes (During this time I also encountered an addition problem where I couldn't select a talent on level up. The selection simply stayed empty.). Ever since I closed the game I could not get it to launch again. It shows a green screen for a bit, then closes itself.

Currently playing through the game on xbox gamepass and I overall enjoying my time with it but the lack of minimap destroys the gameplay flow. Since the map shows every treasure once you find the map of the level, it leads to me constantly opening the map and looking where I am so I do not miss anything. Its just stop and go.

If there would be a minimap, I would use the big map to find the general direction I want to go and then could just play with the minimap.
I guess there is none since at release your position wasnt shown on the map? Since nowadays there is a circe that shows your location there isnt a reason against a minimap.

(2nd unrelated nitpick: would love if the characters wouldnt stop movement after a dash. Its also a balancing point but a dash killing all momentum always feels terrible. Would also help with quicker movement in no-horses areas)

Character gets stuck on pebbles on the ground. I understand that he's a scientist, but sheesh, feels like he cant get his feet above the ground. Traversing the terrain is very annoying when you get stuck at every nook and cranny and pebble on the ground.

I think quite a bit of this is because of areas being closed off or not developed yet. I wouldn't worry too much about it until the actual "early release".
I do agree with you on the other issues though!

So, just want to point out something that seems to have been missed by all the responses here: if what the OP says is true, all you need to do is spend gold at the beginning of each play session.

Actually tried it, and my puppet aggro deck when from sometimes even hitting 80% terrible hands down to like 10% terrible hands. I'm one person so not a good sample size though. It still could have been a coincidence.

While I didn't win fully, I did manage to get 3 wins, despite being f2p. I didn't get bad luck on any match, so much as the rune deck that beat me healed enough and then had cocytus eventually (not the combo, just the card on its own).

Apparently, the guy in a straw hat that's constantly offering to help with the bosses is supposed to show up near the end and somehow give you his weapon, but he never showed up for me so I'm missing that achievement, although I talked to him on every occasion.
Is it because I never summoned anyone or I messed up something else - who knows..

The items can't be on the store, at all, if Valve uses visa/mc or any other payment processor that has similar rules. That means "only accept with (thing) for adult games" still will not work.

Then put them on a different store. Make "Steam 2" with blackjack and hookers.

If Valve wants to set up an adult store, they can. If they don't, then maybe you should do it if you think it's such a great idea. That's the thing with idea-men, they always want to solve other people's problems and it doesn't matter if the solution is simple or difficult because the idea-man doesn't have to do any of the work. But somehow that work is never appealing to the idea-man and they can't imagine why that would hold true for anyone else....

to be honest this was more because defending your pvp base from a raid was impossible. Sandstorms were random, bases are WAY too easy to raid, there's no offline guards like in Conan you can place, etc. There really needs to be a pvp base re-work, to make raiding bases and defending them more plausible
