If you quit then you were ahead of the curve by quite a bit.

I did start letting my sub lapse several times in that period because of frustration at negative seasonal events and game play direction.

But didn't quit subscribing entirely until 2023.

Now I play trial as I have yet to find another online game I want to go for and the games I did play in 2023 grenaded their integrity. So it's singleplayer, coop, and XIV trial for now.

If there is still a way for a character or dino to be transfered from one in-game server/'world' to another then this game is doomed. This is the exact update that killed the first (and only good Ark : Survival Evolved). They have been trying to bring this game back but its going to be just a Chinese real world trading simulator as long as you can transfer.
Ark WAS the best and greatest game ever made in my opinion, until cross server transfer.
And it will remain dead on arrival until they change that.

My FOV and Angle is resetting every mission. It didn't do this yesterday.
