I was actually hunting for if anyone had info on this... Trying to get the rare and legendary versions and wasn't sure if breeding common x common can get it, or if there's a better chance of say, rare x uncommon or such. I'm actively trying to hunt the mutations (Holo more like, with the rainbow thing) for every type of bug. As far as I can tell, the holo doesn't have anything to do with the parents bc I get it by mass buying normals/pairing two normal not holos together.

Honestly I think any bug just has the same chance of turning in to a mutant.
The last one that I got was a mutated uncommon (green) + unmutated uncommon = mutated rare (purple). So you can definitely get a different tier mutated bug than the parents.
I haven't done any extensive testing though. I am just happy with the few random mutants that I get. I don't want them all to be mutants :D But good luck with your project!

The test gave me an automation bug, now i was already playing astroneer at the time and loved the automation in there. Been dusting up my copy of dyson sphere and played it for the first time, and love it. but then i saw in the pics of satisfactory how the machines seemed to connect in the same way etc. so i bought it..

To be honest, i think im missing something or im just not at the point where it becomes great, star rupture seems to be better in everything, it removes a lot of annoying things from satisfactory, and is actually about automation.

with satisfactory you end up crafting things by hand because its jsut 4 times faster than the machines, and you unlock these phases that you really dont have much use for until you unlocked a lot of other phases, and you do most of this by hand because it so much faster, except for the its that you can not make by hand..

and i dont know, its not challenging, the challenge is in annoyance not in difficulty or complexity. its very limited, and very much an afk time waster.

it doesnt have the element of spontaneously creating a spaghetti monster that you dont know how it works anymore, but somehow it does work, which is loved in starrupture.

it doesnt satisfy at all, at least so far lol

its the lesser of the games i tried, and to me it just cements how great starrupture can be, doing away with the annoyances and just focussing on the fun and engaging things

im sure im doing it wrong or something because there has toi a be reason everyone is so would about the game, and i want to like it because i love the art style, just im about to save and quit and continue with dyson sphere or something, cus im looking at the new objectives and im not exited, but annoyed lol

ive got the grinders blues, and i think thats the problem, satisfactory is maybe a grinding game, instead one that grips attention by allowing for organic complexity, or something.

i feel starrupture is going to be the better game, and i dont think that bug i got in the test can be scratched with the titles i named here, even if the others are great games, astroneer, dyson spehere.

anyway, those few months are gone in a blink and before you know it youll be reading forum posts complaining "why release too early" lol

What do i have to do to be able to use cheats in the story mode for dark crusade and soul storm?

Yeah, the purple square is quite annoying. I found the easiest work around (before you can afford auto water dispensers, or a botanist to automate, is to click into the pot for water and note the blue circle position. if it vanishes after the first water, go out and back in and it will show the first position again. you can bounce in and out via right click to quickly water with first positions if needed.

obviously a manual work around for a beta bug that is exactly that, simply beta instability. Very unlikely to go live as is, but the above is the easiest work around early game.

Thats what I did I had to back out to see where the target was again a few times no big deal
