I think the fog vials are by far the worst addition to DBD in the game's history. I'm honestly still very confused something like this even made it to the live version of the game. The backlash players have had towards them has been insane and its only going to get worse.

Seriously, it's completely bonkers. No other item in the history of the entire game has infinite uses, even Maps that were functionally useless for NEARLY A DECADE. I'm all for adding some cool new items, but these things should be 1-3 uses tops. Lunacy!

Currently toolkits and medkits also have infinite charges using streetwise...

It prevents pawns from breaking and removes them from having thoughts for 2 days after taking.

It is a bit pricey at 2 neutro and 20 bioferrite per hit, every 2 days, but it will guarantee your addicted pawn is not breaking, remains calm and will sit out his rehab time until he is no longer addicted.

Serums are kind of moot in my opinion, I feel like the same sentiment is shared by much of the playerbase. Like Anomaly is already pretty mid, and serums are like mid-game Anomaly content. So you'd have to be actively engaging with Anomaly content to get to the serums...and that's just too much for some people, I think. The worth of serums don't outweigh their cost.
